Whether you want to ski in the forest, on a panoramic plateau or in the high mountains of its third sector, Ax 3 Domaines offers visitors all the riches of the Pyrenean mountains. Directly linked to the village of Ax-les-Thermes by its cable car, the pleasures continue with local gastronomy, thermal water at the Bains du Couloubret and all the atmosphere of a lively mountain village.

- 1 cable car linking the village of Ax-les-Thermes to the foot of the Bonascre piste.
- 1 SNCF Toulouse > Ax-les-Thermes ski-rail: 1? hours by train, and the station just 1 minute by shuttle bus from the gondola to the foot of the pistes! Ideal if you live in Toulouse and don’t want to take the car!

Nordic skiing at CHIOULA
In the heart of a friendly, peaceful natural setting, just a stone’s throw from Ax-3-Domaines, the Nordic ski runs at Le Chioula follow the gentle, natural route of the village paths and country lanes. There are 14 routes, ranging from 1 to 17 km, here in the heart of a deep forest, there at the foot of the remains of the Cathar castle of Montaillou, and elsewhere along a wide ridge with panoramic views over more than 100 km of the Pyrenees mountain range. You can also try your hand at snowshoeing on marked trails to reach the guarded refuge at the heart of the ski area, the village of Prades or the mountains of Sorgeat or Ignaux.

Downhill skiing at ASCOU
Nestling in the middle of a forest of fir trees, Ascou benefits from excellent snow conditions, offering families, couples and groups of friends tranquillity and the pleasure of authentic sensations. Accessible to all levels, the ski area allows everyone to enjoy the pleasures of skiing and snowboarding. Ascou, the great secret of little pleasures?

- Access only from Ax-les-Thermes in winter, as the Col de Pailhères is closed.
